Meet The Instructor

Amanda spilinga

 

Amanda Spilinga is a visionary NYC-based actress, choreographer, writer, and multidisciplinary performer. She is the founder of Alternative Synergy The Company (ASTC)—a movement-driven platform where street dance, contemporary forms, physical theater, and storytelling intersect to explore identity, transformation, and emotional truth.

Amanda made history as the first female dancer to bring New Style Hustle to mainstream television, performing on The Late Show with David Letterman and for artist Tove Lo. A four-time Brooklyn Arts Council grantee, she is known for her emotionally charged, genre-defying work—most notably ASTC: The Debut, which raised over $10,000 through community support, and The Myth Project, a fusion of contemporary dance, psychological thriller, and poetic narrative.

Through ASTC and its exclusive creative cohort, The Synergy Guild, Amanda supports professional artists through monthly workshops, private coaching, and networking events. Her mission is to help artists—from dancers to actors to multidisciplinary creatives—craft bold, personal, and impactful work. At the heart of her method is a deep belief:
