Amanda Spilinga, founder of Alternative Synergy The Company (ASTC), is a multidisciplinary artist and educator with a rich background in dance, acting, choreography, and playwriting. With over a decade of experience, she has developed innovative methods like the ASTC Dance Method, which empowers artists to explore individuality through movement and mind-body connection. As a facilitator of the ASTC 30 Days Creative Challenge, Amanda brings her expertise in fostering creative growth and guiding artists to align their craft with their everyday lives. Her work inspires participants to embrace artistry as a lifestyle and unlock their unique creative potential.
michelle tolson
Michelle Tolson brings decades of performance, choreography, and teaching expertise to the ASTC 30 Days Creative Challenge. A former Radio City Rockette and seasoned choreographer, Michelle has guided students to thrive on Broadway, in national tours, and on television. As a creative mentor, podcast co-host, and Performing Arts Director, Michelle excels in fostering artistic growth and empowering individuals to unlock their potential. Her role as a facilitator blends her deep knowledge of artistry and performance with a passion for helping creatives integrate their craft into everyday life.
I used to be very self conscious about my dancing and it wasn’t super enjoyable and kind of pointless when you care about everyone else’s opinion when it’s your expression. But through going to Amanda’s dance class and being able to just dance in front of people and not have a pre-disposed view of looking at me negatively...
